Our
Inter- national Class- mates...
Much
has been said about the many facets of the character of our class. One
is its international flavor... the caption below the clipping reads: "Two
graduates born in Europe exchange congratulations. Irmgard Witzke is a
native of Rippin, Germany, now a part of Poland. Joseph Dell'Aquila was
born in Tuoro, Naples Province Italy. Both spent their first three school
years in their native countries."
Cheuz,
Irmgard! Ciao, Joe!

Nurses...
The
caption below the photo reads: "Mrs. Charles Taetsch, chairman of the
scholarship committee of the Public Health Nursing Association, discusses
nursing futures with scholarship winners Harriet Borajkiewicz and Jane
Hodlin. Standing is Mrs. Paul Zink, Association president."
According
to Jane Hodlin Owens, this event took place in 1958 in the room adjacent
to the Home Economics Sewing Room (possible a Teacher's lounge?) at Plainville
