A great time was had by all.  It was a blast from the past pushed into the present.  On the spur of the moment, Bob Whelan and Ginny Hill-Noel wanted to get together for dinner.  A few were called to explore this and it just took off from there.  It was a tremendous success in spite of the short notice.  Invites were sent to all, using lots of the addresses I had used from the 26th reunion and surprising enough, many were still in the same place.

I walked into the Silo Restaurant, not knowing what to expect, wondering if I would recognize everyone, someone or no one.  Some of us changed, a little more weight, a little less hair, a wrinkle here and there but a few did not seem to change at all.

It was a night to remember, recall over and over again with renewed friendships.  We were all transported back in time to “remember when we did this”, “remember when we did that”.  I am sure we all learned new things that happened during our high school years that we either forgot or really did not know.  We all jumped from table to table, group to group, flashes going off all over the place.  We had to pull ourselves away from each other to sit down to eat and then I can’t remember what I had.  We were all so busy visiting, catching up and remembering.  It was fantastic!

And other CT towns:  Colchester – Austin Gardner & his lady,  Farmington – Fred Marcantonio & his lady and me, Janice Fanciullo-Kane from Old Saybrook.

Those that came from afar were Ginny Hill-Noel of Atkinson NH, Ralph & Rosemary Theriault of Harvard MA and Bob Whelan of Orono, ME. 

Those that are “connected” exchanged email addresses and we picked each other’s brain to update other classmates’ whereabouts.  We did not want to leave and a few of us lingered at the bar until almost closing time with promises to stay in touch.

You mail your info, including email address & phone numbers, to Ralph, Ginny, Bobby or me.  We are still looking for current addresses for many classmates, so please include info on anyone you still keep in touch with.

We want to have a BIG BASH for our 45th reunion.  Ginny and I will be doing a mailing to all that includes a questionnaire for your suggestions and info.
