Dated: Tue 3/27/2007 5:50 PM Subj: RE: Class Advisory: A couple of points.... Hi Ralph: It has been a long time since I checked the Class of ’58 site. Just FYI it appears that my settings are 1280x 800, as I am using an new laptop that I purchased in December, 2006. An HP fully loaded. A good business expense I guess. We should have people update their e-mail address, as I attempted to send Bob Zdunczyk a birthday wish on February 25th, but I had a bad e-mail address. So what is happening with the Great Class of ’58 these days. Almost everything the same here at 16 Minnesota Lane, just doing our thing, working with my clients helping them accumulate their $$$ and then helping them protect it and spend it in the near future with RMD’s. We had a nice Christmas Holiday with our family visiting for a few days. We just received some news last week that our son Scott is being promoted to LT. Col in the near future and was just given a two year assignment to Korea. Our son Michael still lives and works in the Boston area. We will be going to Cobo San Lucas, Mexico in a few weeks for a Business Convention. Last May one of my companies took us on 10 day Florida (3 days) and cruise (7 days). These are the perks of the business. That is hard to give up as I am sure you can understand. Well, I just wanted to say hi and check in. We hope that everyone is doing well and staying healthy. Have a great week. Best regards, Paul |
From: Ralph Noel [ralph_ann@comcast.net] Dated: Wed 3/28/2007 12:11 PM Subj: Re: Class Advisory: A couple of points.... It was a pretty mild
winter up here in NH I didn't get in as much skiing as I would have liked
but I'm not complaining too much I'm just happy I can still do it.
I spent a couple of months this winter creating a voice narrated PowerPoint
slide show using pictures and videos we took during a Greek Island cruise
out of Venice Italy last September. It was a great time. I dusted off the
golf clubs a couple of days ago in preparation for a trip to Myrtle Beach,
SC. Saturday. Ginny had mentioned that we finally became grandparents over
a year ago and now were expecting another in June. We don't get to see
the kids as much as we would like because they are over 3 hours away but
the good news is My son and his wife are planning on relocating to NH after
the second baby comes. Everyone is looking forward to that happening. I
hope this little note helps your hit count skyrocket.

Dated: Mon 6/9/03 7:57 PM Subj: RE: Check ins Hi to all from sunny Florida. I'm checking in, finally. What a great web site Ralph! I check it several times a week. Since June 1958, I have spent 8 years in the USAF, 20 years with Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, Iran, Philadelphia, and West Palm Beach. Then, 10 years working for Allied Signal/Honeywell in South Bend, Indiana. In 1993, I went to work part-time for Sam's Club, and now I work full-time in the Ft. Pierce club. In October 1961, I married Phyllis Jones. We have a son Todd (32) who is married to a lovely lady, Jennifer, and they have given us two grandsons, Brennan (6) and Brian (3). They live near Orlando where Todd works for Fedex. I am looking forward to the reunion in July. See you then. Roland Lasher, but still known as Punch to my friends and family. |

Dated: Wed 9/18/02 4:43 PM Subj: Check-In HI All! Thanks to RALPH, Barbara D. and Jan F., here I am! It sure was fun reading about all of you...kind of a trip down memory lane with several surprise endings! As for me, I attended Vermont Junior College after high school and rec'd an Assoc. Degree. My 1st job was at CIGNA in Bloomfield. Shortly after, Jim and I were married and I stayed home to raise a family of three, Tim, Mary and Helen. Our home was always a blaze of activity. When the kids moved out, my Mom and brother-in-law Bob came to live with us. Both have since passed on. My work schedule revolved around the needs of the family ending with employment at MetLife in Glastonbury. Now I am retired. Jim and I have found a new life in our grandchildren and have fun every day! The best of times to all of you! Regards, Judy |

Dated: Sun 2/3/02 2:33 PM Subj: check in Good Morning Class of ’58: Well I am finally getting time to check in. I appreciate Ginny getting the correct e-mail address to me. Bob Z attempted to give me the address, however I must have not heard him properly. I have so much to tell you all, however I don’t want to bore you to death, I don’t know where to begin. Before I start rambling on, I would like to congratulate Ralph and the rest of the gang that created the Class of ’58 Web site, truly an outstanding job. I am very impressed, love the music, the pictures, etc… Great job!!! After our graduation, on June 18th (Wednesday) how is that for remembering dates, I went to college, well actually two of them, but did graduate in 1962, with a B.S, in physical education. I always knew that I wanted to teach and coach from our sophomore year on. From 1962 – 1983 I was a teacher and coach...(at a school in Connecticut).. From 1983 until my retirement in 1999, I was the Dir. Of Physical Education and Athletics... So I did 37 wonderful and fun years in education. Had a great time, a lot of success and fun. Throughout that time frame several other wonderful things happed to me. I finished my M.S. in 1964 met my wife (Bonnie) to be in Oslo, Norway doing other graduate work at the Univ. of Oslo, in 1966. Got married in 1967. We had our first son Scott, in 1969 (he is now a Captain in the Air Force stationed in Japan). Our second son Michael was born in 1972 (works in Massachusetts). I completed my sixth year in School Administration in 1975. Obtained a patent on a football “kicking tee” in 1976 (you all have probably seen a version of it on the sideline, warming up the field goal kickers as you watch football). I got into the financial service business in 1979 on a dual career basis and have been very successful thus far. Up in until my school retirement I did both jobs. So here I am living in Connecticut, semi-retired, spending a great deal of time doing what-ever we want to, traveling and doing my business and taking care of my clients. I really have not seen or kept in touch with the class of ’58, and that is my fault, but it sure was nice to read all about you on the web site. Sorry that I missed the get together in August, however I did call Barbara and told her that I was in Houston that week on a business trip. I will make every effort to attend the next get-together, I promise. Well keep up the good work, as I wish everyone happiness and good health. Let’s keep in touch… Best
personal regards,
Paul P.S. I was not in the Army, that was my brother, class of ’55. |

Dated: Wed 9/26/01 9:39 AM Subj: more pictures Hi Ralph,
I have attached a couple of pictures you can use for the site. The one of me alone is current (what a difference 40 years can make!!) and can be used for the "before & after" shot like you have. The other is a news clipping of a bunch of us heading for the USN. After the Navy I completed college and then went to work for Bell Labs (AT&T/Lucent) in the EE field for 35 years. I am now retired and enjoying the fruits of my labor. Stay in touch ralph@webgate.mv.com (NOTE: Ralph's Navy photo is in our 'Photo Album' section... JRT) |

Dated: Sun 9/9/01 8:41 PM Subj: Check in Ralph - It was so good seeing you in August. You were a surprise, seeing you haven't been to one reunion. Rosemary is a doll. Now that we know you still come to Plainville we should get together more often. I want everyone to know that even though Ralph lives in Ma., he still supports Ct. With the money he has spent on speeding tickets alone, that should pay our Governor's salary!!! Regarding the Royal R's - I can still play the drums if you can get Joey to shake out of his jacket, maybe we will have something going at our next reunion. It was great seeing Joel & Sandy, Bruce Bradshaw, Sid, Jan, Austin, Barb & Ron, Ruth, Mike & Lee, Valerie, Joey, Freddie, Eddy, Chuck, John D., Bobby and of course last but certainly not least my loving cousin the one, the only "Ginny". Love
to all---
