This is Carol's obituary as published in the Hartford Courant on 2 April 1983. The notations in brackets were added by the Plainville High School Class of 1958.

KALLENBACH.  Carol V. Kallenbach, 42, wife of William M. Kallenbach, of Cornwall Road, Burlington, died Thursday, [March 31] at John Dempsey Hospital, Farmington. 

Born in Hartford, Aug. 19, 1940, daughter of Carl and Mary (Gianotti) Vicinus, she lived in the Bristol-Plainville area most of her life, before moving to Burlington 10 years ago. [She graduated from Plainville High School in 1958 and went on to study teaching. She taught school in Bristol.]

Besides her parents of Plainville, and her husband, she is survived by two sons, Tod and Jeffrey Kallenbach; two daughters, Kimberly and Debra Ann Kallenbach, all at home; a brother, Paul Vicinus of Plainville; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. from O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, to Our Lady of Mercy Church, Plainville at 10 a.m., for a mass of Christian burial. Burial will be in New St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
