IN MEMORIAM

MICHAEL E. PERROTTI, SR.




Michael E. Perrotti, Sr., 67, of Plainville, passed away on Wednesday (March 12, 2008), at the West Haven Veteran's Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lee Jurgen. Michael was born in Waterbury on April 18, 1940, one of three children to the late William and Augusta (Kuhn) Perrotti. A longtime resident of Plainville, Michael owned and operated Perrotti and Sons Meat Market, a career he thoroughly enjoyed until his retirement in 1983. 

He served his country in the U.S. Army, was a member of the American Legion Post #33 and was an avid cribbage player. Above all, his favorite past times were spent riding his motorcycle with his son's and watching his grandson's ball games. 

Along with his wife, Lee of Bristol, he leaves his sons, Michael Perrotti, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Plainville, William Perrotti and his wife A.J. of Prospect, and Denis Perrotti and his wife Kelly of Plainville; his daughter, Jordan M. Pelletier of Florida; and four grandchildren, Erik, Courtney, Billy, and Grace Perrotti. He also leaves his brother, Louis Perrotti of Florida; his sister, Nila DellaBella of Florida and Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends gathered on Sunday March 16, from 2 - 5 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad St. Plainville. Military Honors were held at the conclusion of the visitation. Burial was held privately at the convenience of the family. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to the American Legion Post #33 7 Race Ave. Plainville, CT 06062.
