6 July 1971.  PLAINVILLE - Benito Benny Lopez, 33, of 39 Homestead Ave., died suddenly of natural causes Sunday at New Britain General Hospital.

Born in Bristol, he lived in Plainville most of his life. [He was a graduate of Plainville High School, Class of 1958.] He was a supervisor at the Constructive Workshop for the Handicapped in New Britain. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church.

He leaves his parents, David and Mary Pelke Lopez, and a sister, Mrs. Donald Higgins, all of Plainville.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 8 a.m. at the Plainville Memorial Funeral Home, 106 W. Main St., and at Our Lady of Mercy Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Callings hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
